Past Project: Beautification

When asked what would most improve their neighborhood, many residents prioritize beautifying the physical environment. Transforming a blank wall, shed, or flowerpot into a work of art makes the neighborhood more fun and inviting. The Moline CDC has worked with our partner neighborhoods to install murals, street sign toppers, and other public art projects to create neighborhood landmarks and increase neighborhood pride.
